A milestone
It is done: The Scooter & Service Demonstrator Vespa 250N is the world's first Vespa with over 50 hp rear wheel power - the trade press is raving!
At the same time, a whole series of new technical solutions are being developed: The "Werks-Sprint" now runs with an extremely modified Malossi 210 cylinder with 240ccm, a self-developed programmable exhaust control and with a 13 liter tank integrated in the left side panel - the first seat tanks for largeframe and smallframe models are being built.
In a "quick-fix weekend action", Wolle creates the basic framework of his water-cooled Vespa 138N: For the first time, a modified Cosa fork with a shortened RS 24 shock absorber is used - the "Superlow fork" is invented.
