Upgrade of a Vespa PX 80 from our workshop: A complete rotary valve-controlled Quattrini 244cc engine with Polini box exhaust and 22hp rear wheel power now gives this PX a top speed of up to 130km/h - the performance characteristics with the very early onset of high torque of the 244cc Quattrini cylinder make the Vespa a perfect fast tourer, which comes to a reliable stop at any time thanks to the also retrofitted fully hydraulic disc brake based on Grimeca.
With crash bars, flyscreen and chrome parts, this Vespa PX is, in our opinion, a consistent example of understated elegance.
