Our Vespa PX engines are equipped as standard with a CNC-machined BGM Superstrong clutch basket and a reinforced clutch gear from the manufacturer DRT with 23 teeth; the primary gear ratio of 23/65 teeth corresponds to that of an original PX 200 engine.
For high-torque engines like the Quattrini 244ccm, we recommend, in addition to a long first and second gear on the main shaft, an extension of the primary gear ratio using the DRT clutch gear with 24 teeth.

The AC version is designed for operation with alternating current only; in this case, no battery is used.

Individually configurable Vespa PX 221cc engine with Malossi Sport cylinder kit, long-stroke crankshaft and a rear wheel power output of 20 to 22 hp - rotary valve controlled:
This engine is the perfect solution for long-term touring and everyday use, and in addition to its durability, it is characterized by smooth power delivery across the entire rev range - the available power potential of 20 to 22 hp at the rear wheel, depending on the chosen exhaust system (Vespa PX 200 original engine: about 9 hp at the rear wheel), is more than sufficient to ensure swift overtaking maneuvers even at highway speeds.
Our Vespa PX engines are of course built exclusively from new parts in our workshop - the engine modifications as well as the parts and components used are based on our long-established concepts and experience.
The rotary valve-controlled base engine includes, among other things, a Malossi V-one engine casing, a PX 200 Lusso gearbox with short 4th gear (Sip Performance), a BGM Superstrong clutch with CNC-machined clutch basket, a SIP Performance VAPE ignition with linear ignition timing adjustment, and a Sip Performance long-stroke crankshaft.
In addition, our selection menu offers a wide range of further options and possibilities for customizing the chosen Vespa engine to individual preferences and needs - surcharges for certain additional options are indicated in the respective selection option.
