This is how Rawstyle is created
Every rawstyle paint job begins with a primer and the subsequent application of the desired vehicle color – the actual rawstyle effects are created afterward. We work exclusively without creating real rust, instead crafting all the weathering effects with paint. We seal our acrylic-based rawstyle paint jobs with Owatrol oil, well-known from the classic car scene. This oil gives every Vespa rawstyle project its characteristic satin sheen and, thanks to its exceptional adhesion and penetration, provides lasting protection against corrosion.
To refresh the rust protection, the paintwork can simply be treated with a rag soaked in owatrol - however, depending on the weather conditions, this is often only necessary after years.
