"S" stands for "Silent" - the revolutionary development in the field of Vespa racing exhausts from Scooter & Service!
Externally almost indistinguishable from our normal exhaust systems, the "S" models impress with a significantly reduced noise level - with a PX 200 engine with over 25 hp and 244ccm, we easily meet the noise levels required by the TÜV both when stationary and when passing by, which was not possible with exhaust systems from other manufacturers.
This quantum leap is made possible by the multi-walled construction with additional internal insulation made of high-temperature resistant insulating material from the automotive sector.
The performance of the “S” exhaust systems impresses with its early onset and broad, touring-friendly characteristics – a significant gain for all engines in the class up to 30 hp.

The S PLUS internal insulation, now available for all designs and versions of our handcrafted Vespa racing exhaust systems, is perfectly suited for broad-range Vespa tuning concepts based on a PX 200 engine with up to over 30 hp rear wheel power.
For example, the noise level of a rotary valve-controlled Vespa PX 200 engine with 244ccm and around 25 hp rear wheel power with an S PLUS-insulated exhaust is almost identical to that of an original engine - the S PLUS systems perfectly support the engine's torque even from the lowest speeds and make this system the best choice for touring engines.

CNC-machined stainless steel cylinder-side flange, compatible with all Scooter & Service PX 200 exhaust systems – including heat-resistant Viton ring. The flange is available in various inner diameters to ensure an optimal, play-free fit on the flange of the respective cylinder.
The Malossi Sport and MHR cylinders, for example, have an outer diameter of 44.4mm, while the Quattrini 232/244 cylinders and the BFA Motori cylinders for the PX 200 class come with an outer diameter of the cylinder flange of 44.9mm – if in doubt, please measure.

The Newline exhaust system, developed by us and manufactured entirely by hand in our Vespa workshop in Bispingen near Hamburg, combines touring qualities with sporting ambitions, works very well even with short valve timing and unmodified cylinders, and is therefore practically the all-round model among Vespa racing exhaust systems.
The Scooter & Service Newline exhaust is suitable for use with a center stand and also fits with our wide tire kits including the 4-inch kit with 130 rear tire - CNC-machined flange connections with heat-resistant Viton rings are of course included with the Newline, as with all our exhaust systems - as are all parts required for assembly.
The Newline systems work with both unmodified cylinders with rather short port timings, such as the Malossi Sport, Polini or VMC Ranger, and with high-performance Malossi MHR cylinder kits with larger cross-sections (up to approx. 192°/31° exhaust advance) – here, power values ​​of over 30 hp with still broad power delivery are easily possible with the appropriate overall setup.
For all Vespa tuning concepts where everyday usability and touring suitability are paramount, we recommend our noise-insulated Newline S or Newline S PLUS systems - in addition to the moderate noise level, the insulated Newline models offer an even better torque curve from low engine speeds compared to the undisturbed versions, especially in Vespa setups with rather moderate valve timing and cross-sections.
Since the flange diameters of the cylinders available for the Vespa PX 200 engines differ in outer diameter, we supply each Vespa racing exhaust with the flange part that matches the cylinder used - if the cylinder kit needs to be changed, the flange parts in the desired diameter can be reordered individually.
