Our Vespa PX engines are equipped as standard with a CNC-machined BGM Superstrong clutch basket and a reinforced clutch gear from the manufacturer DRT with 23 teeth; the primary gear ratio of 23/65 teeth corresponds to that of an original PX 200 engine.
For high-torque engines like the Quattrini 244ccm, we recommend, in addition to a long first and second gear on the main shaft, an extension of the primary gear ratio using the DRT clutch gear with 24 teeth.

We offer the Sip ignition for Vespa PX engines in two different versions, both versions include a linear adjustment of the ignition timing by a total of 8 degrees.
The AC version is designed for operation with alternating current only; in this case, no battery is used.

We install the completed engine in our test bench chassis and perform engine tuning on our in-house Amerschläger P4 dynamometer, which includes both the correct ignition timing and the appropriate carburetor setup and adjustment.
The nozzles etc. required for the tuning are already included in the price for the engine tuning.

Individually configurable Vespa PX engine, optionally with 125cc or 187cc displacement and a rear wheel power output of 12 to 16HP - rotary valve controlled.
The 125cc version of this Vespa PX engine is ideal for holders of a 125cc-limited driving license: Equipped with the Sip Performance aluminum cylinder, the legally permitted 15hp engine power is easily and effortlessly utilized - the engine runs significantly more powerfully overall than an original Vespa PX 125 engine (approx. 6hp rear wheel power) and easily reaches a top speed of over 100 km/h.
The significantly larger 187cc version of this PX engine plays in a completely different league: Equipped with the proven Malossi Sport aluminum cylinder and a matching Sip Performance long-stroke crankshaft, this engine delivers around 16 hp to the rear wheel even at moderate speeds, which corresponds to an engine output of around 20 hp and makes the 187cc engine a fully-fledged touring setup, with which quick overtaking maneuvers are easily possible even at country road speeds.

Our Vespa PX engines are of course built exclusively from new parts - the base engine used in the PX 125 engine configurator is basically equipped with the same components as our 244cc engines with up to 30hp and therefore has almost unnecessary safety reserves in terms of components, which in any case ensure very good durability.
The rotary valve-controlled base engine includes, among other things, a Malossi V-one engine casing, a PX 200 Lusso gearbox with short 4th gear (Sip Performance), a BGM Superstrong clutch with CNC-machined clutch basket, a SIP Performance VAPE ignition with linear ignition timing, and a Sip Performance crankshaft.
In addition, our selection menu offers a wide range of further options and possibilities for customizing the chosen Vespa engine to individual preferences and needs - surcharges for certain additional options are indicated in the respective selection option.
