Vespa wide tire rim 10 inch, consisting of one wide PX and one wide Cosa rim half.
This rim is used for both the Scooter & Service 3-inch wide tire kit and our 4-inch wide tire kit - the screws and small parts required for mounting the rear wheel are already included in the respective kit.
Assembly instructions:
When using the 3-inch kit, the wider Cosa rim half is mounted on the left in the direction of travel, while with the 4-inch kit it is mounted on the right in the direction of travel.

4-inch Custom Vespa Conversions
The Scooter & Service 4-inch wide tire kit allows the mounting of a 130/70-10 rear tire on a Vespa PX 200 engine - by means of a CNC-machined spacer ring made of high-strength aluminum and the use of a wide tire rim, a total rim width of 4 inches is achieved.
Unlike other wide tire solutions, our kit features a circumferential centering edge that perfectly centers the rear wheel on the brake drum, thus ensuring perfect concentricity.
The Scooter & Service 4-inch wide tire kit comes in the basic version including a CNC-machined aluminum ring, crossbar spacer and the necessary mounting parts - the matching rims and tires can be configured optionally.
Assembly - Conversion:
To compensate for the track offset caused by the wide tire kit, the crossmember of the motor housing must be shortened by 10mm on the right and the silent rubber on this side must be modified accordingly - the supplied crossmember spacer is then mounted on the left side of the crossmember.
After this modification, a track offset of approximately 6mm remains; the engine-side side panel must be widened as a result of the offset.
The standard brake drum screws must be replaced with the screws supplied with the wide tire kit to accommodate the 4-inch conversion.
