The membrane-controlled Quattrini 244cc engine setup, with a rear wheel output of approximately 30 hp, leaves nothing to be desired even for sport-oriented riders: very broad powerband with early torque of over 30 Nm, top speed over 130 km/h.

All engines configurable within our Superlow Series Custom Vespa models are built exclusively from new parts – the components used have been tried and tested for many years, and our engine designs are consistently mature. The foundation of every engine is a Malossi engine case ( except for the 125cc engine, which uses a Pinasco case ). For the gearbox, we use original Piaggio parts and reinforced components from DRT and Crimaz. All engines are equipped with a modern clutch featuring a CNC-machined clutch basket, a Sip Vape ignition with linear timing adjustment, and a correspondingly reinforced crankshaft to ensure maximum operational reliability.
A final engine tuning on our in-house dynamometer, including AFR measurement using a lambda sensor, is of course also standard.
