Complete, individually configurable and fully assembled BFA engine with 306ccm, suitable for Vespa Largeframe models - the absolute pinnacle of performance!
Based on the concept developed by BFA Motori with a small-series production engine casing, cylinder, crankshaft, clutch and intake manifold, we offer a configurable complete engine concept that surpasses everything else in terms of performance: With a displacement of 306cc and the correspondingly designed components, horsepower values ​​of well over 40hp are easily achievable; the BFA concept for Vespa Largeframe models opens up a new dimension in Vespa tuning.
The engine is always fully assembled in our workshop; attachments and other components such as carburetors and the racing exhaust we developed specifically for the BFA 306cc engine are optional.

In addition to the components developed by BFA, we already install a complete gearbox made of original Piaggio parts in the basic version of the 306cc engine, including gears, main shaft, countershaft axle and reduction gear, and a Sip Vape ignition with linear ignition timing – all bearings, shaft seals and small parts are of course quality products.
The BFA 306 engine is supplied including cylinder cover, fan wheel cover, brake drum with mounted brake linings, clutch cover, kickstarter, oil and adjustment screws, etc. - the choice of carburetor and exhaust system is optional.

The BFA 306 engine is based on the design of a Vespa PX 200 engine, but due to the wider engine casing, it requires approximately 25mm more space under the right side panel: Therefore, to install the BFA engine, both PX models and all other Vespa Largeframe models must be widened accordingly - modifications must also be made to mount the rear-facing carburetor to prevent it from hitting the frame.
